Well my log book says I flew Delta-Oscar, a 152, to Le Touquet with one other on board, but I'm afraid I can't remember any more details than that. Presumably I made it back somehow.

This was Lee's last trip with the Circus. He was being packed off to New Zealand to get his civil license. We not all duffers then!

Bicycles were rented at Le Touquet airfield, in the proper tradition and we cycled off to the sea front cafe for omlette and chips. Some banter with Jim resulted in a challenge. Football at the airfield, Jim's Heelan's Heroes vs my Dynamos, but that's another (and later in the year) story.
