Wellesbourne Sortie
3rd Feb 2007

So, a very minor sortie at short notice. So minor in fact it all came down to one aircraft, G-ASUD, on a reconnaissance mission accompanying the North Weald Flying Group to Wellesbourne. What's at Wellesbourne? Ask Pete. Not for him the subtleties of composite materials and variable pitch props. No, slap some jet turbines on a delta wing, tie a seat to the front and he's happy! Steve and Bob went along just to be sure he came home again.
