The Circus In Drag!
2nd December 2005

The shout goes up...'it's behind you!!' - did you mean 'Golf Uniform Delta holding contact one ahead'?  After weeks of heavy hinting from the Circus's resident thespian, a dozen of us decided to surprise Mr W (and his lovely fairy wife) at the Christ Church Performers, annual Panto performance.

Quietly secreted amongst rows of Cubs, Brownies,  and OAP's (not sure where we fit in!!), we awaited the rise of the curtain before removing our over coats to reveal our HiViz jackets - 2 hours of 'Oh no he's not', 'Boooooooo's' and 'Hisses' ensued, as we enjoyed the true meaning of entertainment.

At the interval, the choc ice ladies (some younger members of the cast!!) ask why we have bright jackets on, 'we're builders just returned from work - tell Widow Twanky!', 'OK' they said.  It was still a complete surprise to Mr & Mrs W, until we played 'groupies' waiting at the stage door!!  We took a few video clips to give everyone a taster of the cracking night's entertainment - heart and soul was put in by all the cast young, old and cross dressers!!!  Well done Mr & Mrs W, see you next year!

Click the picture to view the movie, some the files are quite big for dial-up, be patient.
When the file download box appears, click open. If you get a list of programs to open
the file with, then see the note below.

You need a 3gp movie player to view this movies. First try clicking them.

If you have a recent camera phone, then the bundled software may well include such a player.

Alternatively, current versions of RealPlayer (you can download the free player here) will play these files. If you install RealPlayer I suggest you turn off all the alerts and turn off the option to add an icon to the Windows quick launch tray, This makes it far less irritating, but that's just me.

Windows Media Player does not play 3gp files and I could not find a codec to make it do so. Sorry!
